Hello fellow bible study folks, how has this week been for you?

As for me, this week has been a crazy roller-coaster ride of emotions and yes, it has been physically tiring as well. But now that it's a great Saturday morning (and I'll be seeing you guys in 2 hours at Chien Lian!), the hard work I've placed this seem to be all worth it. (: And after some contemplation on the car home after breakfast, I realized how much of a grouch I've become. Tsk tsk, ugly me.

But I've decided, even though I may still complain and get depressed over work (well, I'm still human after all), I'll continually remind myself that this phase of my life has a purpose to it. My mum said that it's purpose has already revealed itself to me, but I've yet to see it. Well when I do, I'm sure to inform you guys!

It's amazing how God somehow never lets us down eh? (: Yesterday, Friday 5th of December 2008,  I have finally done my first official routine testing in my company. God really does listen doesn't he? (:

Clarice:
Parent's safe trip home, her parents and grandmother's salvation. To do well for her JLPT 3 paper on Sunday and for the performance to go well on Sunday as well.

Amelia:
Hooray exams are finally over! Pray for quick healing of her ulcer and for the performance to run smoothly on Sunday!

Qimin:
Pray for peedy recovery and for strength to handle her upcoming test and exams!

Jackie:
Pray for her upcoming term test!

Melanie Lao Shi:
Her new business project called Faith Cookie which she has partnered with another christian friend. There will be verses slotted into each package in hopes to spread the word. (Personally, I think this is an awesome idea and I totally will support it!)

Caryn:
Pray for my sister who is Japan. And thank God that I'm starting to be of some use in the company, finally.

So I was hoping that you guys will send me your prayer requests for the following week to me by Thursday so I can collate over the weekend before Sunday. And also weekday nights are almost impossible for me to collate. So sorry for the inconvenience folks!

The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalms 27:1

Hello! [Nov. 26th, 2008|05:30 pm]
Hello guys! Sorry for not  sending out the sms-es cos I was thinking of a way everyone could receive (or read) each others prayer request and at the same time encourage each other through the weeks! (: And I'm personally not really in the favour of using email, cos even I hardly check my email. And my email loads really slowly so will it be okay if you guys sms me your prayers instead?

Anyway so from now, every week I'll put up a post (or 2) on everyone's prayer request and a little verse of encouragement to you all. And if you have anything else you would like to share with everyone else, just comment below the entry. (:

So here are the prayer requests!

Amelia:
Pray for motivation and strength to get through the week and to rely on God more. (And as I know, the uni folks are having their exams so lets pray for her as well!)

Zheng Chang:
Give thanks for the exam papers he had so far and to pray for the upcoming ones!

Jackie:
Pray for school projects and time management.

Siyang:
Pray for his eye infection (still not healed? take care.)

Clarice:
Parents and Grandma's salvation, family and good health. As well as for the church play.

Caryn:
Pray for my attachment, may they find me of more use. Thank God I'm ending week 7 soon!

Anyway I hope everyone would throw in an extra prayer for the year end play, the first performance is coming up! And we really need the grace of God at this crucial time!

P.S.- Melanie Lao Shi I can't seem to open your mail, and I need prayer request from emily, qimin and de shun! (:
